PURPOSE: An AD(ADvertisement) system for a transportation device and an AD method using the same are provided to maximize AD effect, and to make a user obtain proper information by displaying a proper AD according to time and position. CONSTITUTION: An AD terminal(200) includes a position information processing module(210), a mobile communication module(220), a self-diagnosis module(230), an AD controlling module(240), an AD memory(250), an LCD(260) and an AD result reporting module(270). The position information processing module(210) receives the present position information of a taxi from a GPS(Global Positioning System) transceiver and transmits it to the mobile communication module(220) and the AD controlling module(240). The mobile communication module(220) includes a communication transceiver(222) and a communication controller(224). The communication transceiver(222) receives the AD and an AD result request signal from a control system(2), transmits it to the communication controller(224), and transmits the information inputted from the communication controller(224) to the control system(2). The AD provided from the control system(2) includes AD contents, an AD condition and an AD ID.
