<p>The invention relates to a jack comprising an upright body which is placed upright on the floor (3) and consist of a standing column (1), a base (3) and a carrier arm (4) which is moveably fixed to the standing column (1) around a stationary, horizontal swivelling axis. Said carrier arm is directly or indirectly lifted or lowered by means of a screw drive mechanism (6) in relation to the floor (3) and carries a carrier element on the free end (5) thereof. Said element is fixed or can be pivotally moved and is provided with a convex bow shaped adapter head. The aim of the invention is to simply, clearly and securely fix the bow shaped adapter head underneath the sillboard or the bottom (12) of the vehicle to be lifted. The convex bow shaped adapter head engages with a recess (14) that is embodied in a correspondingly concave manner and is situated underneath the sillboard or the bottom (12) of the vehicle to be lifted or the convex bow shaped adapter head is provided with a circumferential groove (19) and, together with said groove (19), encompasses a swelling (20) which is concave or linear in the longitudinal extension.</p> |
