<p>A stepless toroidal gearbox, with at least one input plate and at least one output plate, comprises several friction wheels (10, 10', 10''), fixed by wheel supports (9, 9', 9'') between the inner surfaces of the output and input plates on pivoting bodies (2, 2', 2'') of a support element (1), which are mounted such as to pivot. The wheel supports (9, 9', 9'') for the friction wheels (10, 10', 10'') are connected to the pivoting bodies (2, 2', 2'') by means of a coupling element (19). The coupling element (19) comprises a ball guide (25) with a longitudinal hole (22) for a displacement in a linear direction along the axis of the corresponding wheel support (9, 9', 9'').</p> |
