<p>The invention relates to a multiple-use post (fig. 1). The inventive post is characterised in that it comprises several parts (fig. 4) which are connected by means of the long sides thereof, forming, at the periphery, grooves or flutes which are sunk inwards. Said flutes constitute weldless connections between the parts and form a guide by means of which a mobile support, (fig. 9) (a) and (b), can be moved in any direction along the length of the post. The aforementioned support is designed to hold devices that are to be positioned at any height from a plane close to the ground to the upper end of said post. Said support, which comprises no internal mechanisms, can block and unblock the fluting solely by means of the internal layout thereof. The upper end of the inventive post comprises a power outlet which can be connected to the upper part of the mobile support when said support reaches the height of the outlet as it is being moved upwards.</p> |
