The invention relates to crystalline hydrates of substituted nicotinic acid anilide derivatives and substituted benzoic acid anilide derivatives of formula (1), the production and use thereof to combat phytopathogenic fungi and undesirable insect and accaride attacks and/or to regulate the growth of plants; wherein A represents (A1) or (A2), R1 represents phenyl substituted by halogen, R2 represents difluoromethyl, trifluorormethyl, chlorine, bromine o r iodine and R3 represents trifluoromethyl or chlorine.
