SUBSTANCE: medium comprises nutrient agar as the main component for culturing microorganisms, vitamin preparation "EKD" characterized by high content of amino acids and vitamin complex, in part thiamine bromide, providing energy nutrition, disodium phosphate to provide isotonic property for medium and nalidixic acid, acriflavine hydrochloride and potassium tellurite as inhibitors of concomitant microflora. Medium inhibits the growth of concomitant microflora completely, exhibits high sensitivity and enhanced selectivity. Invention can be used for bacteriological diagnosis of listerellosis effectively.
