PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which remaining parts can be surely cut from each wiring by a simple manufacturing process and an optimum display state can be obtained by preventing the occurrence of a short circuit among the wirings. SOLUTION: In this display device, pixel electrodes 6 are arranged on a substrate 1 in a matrix shape and TFTs (thin film transistors), which are to be connected to these pixel electrodes 6, and signal lines, 5 and scanning lines 2 which are to be connected to these TFTs, are provided. Moreover, protective films 8, 9 are interposed between the signal line 5 and the pixel electrode 6. Then, two lines of signal lines 5 are provided side by side between the pixel electrodes 6 and a groove is formed in the protective films 8, 9 between adjacent signal lines 5. |
