PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of silver sludge stains without impairing photographic performance. SOLUTION: In a silver halide photographic sensitive material including at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on the base, at least one betaine type amphoteric surfactant and at least one nonionic surfactant are contained in the outermost layer on the photosensitive layer side of the support.
