PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak test device capable of detecting even a slight leak and providing high inspection precision. SOLUTION: This leak test device for pressurizing an inspection liquid for detecting the presence or absence of leak of an object to be inspected and feeding it into the object to be inspected to inspect proper or improper object is provided with an inspection vessel 1 storing the object to be inspected 8 and a leak detection means 2 for detecting pressure changes generated in the inspection vessel 1 due to the leak of the inspection liquid L into the inspection vessel 1. The leak detection means 2 has a reference pressure generation means 2 for generating a reference pressure Ps comparable with a pressure P1 in the inspection vessel 1 to detect pressure changes generated in the inspection vessel 1 by comparing the pressure P1 in the inspection vessel 1 with the reference pressure Ps.
