PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake shielding device for introducing high-speed current to the intake in termination of booster combustion, capable of reducing the generation of troubles, and having the response similar to an actual device. SOLUTION: This intake shielding device 3 mounted on an intake opening part 2a, comprises a rectangular frame 11, a shielding plate 5 for switching the intake opening part 2a from a closed condition to an opened condition by being moved in the frame 11, and an actuator 6 for moving the shielding plate 5, the shielding plate 5 has a depth plate 20 for shielding high-speed air current 4 in closing the intake opening part 2a, and side plates 21 mounted at both sides of the depth plate 20 for guiding the high-speed air current 4 shielded by the depth plate 20 in the predetermined deflecting direction.
