PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash base isolation device capable of preventing the damages in glasses by absorbing horizontal and vertical vibrations resulting from an earthquake to ease for a sash inside frame itself directly fitting a glass frame therein. SOLUTION: An outside frame side fitting bar 3 is fitted in an outside frame section 2 by having a prescribed gap in order to place a sash inside frame section 4 to the outside frame section 2 in a slidable manner, and a buffer member 5 is placed in the gap between the sash outside frame section 2 and the outside frame side fitting bar 3. The buffer member 5 is formed of a flat spring member for fixing a projected section 6 of the center in a tie plate on the side of the sash outside frame section 2 and for holding arm sections 7 on both ends of the projected section 6 on the side of the outside frame side fitting bar 3 in a slidable manner.
