Padlock includes blocking ring (34) with gap (35). Thickness of ring is more or less equal to width of notch in cylinder lock (15) receiving key bit (32). <??>Blocking ring can be rotated and inserted in notch (38) in shackle (12) so as to ensure blocking of shackle. Ring also has external half-moon shaped notch (37) used to free shackle when brought in preset angular position by rotating key-bit.
