PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a weather strip capable of preventing degradation of mounting workability and a falling. SOLUTION: The weather strip 1 comprises a substantially plate-like base part 8 that is mounted to a flange 5 at the circumferential edge of a door opening 4 of an automobile 2 and is along the flange 5 and a hollow seal part 10. A hole 20 is formed in the base part 8 of the weather strip 1, and a clip 21 is disposed correspondingly to the hole 20. An outer panel 32 of the flange 5 is provided with a mounting hole 35, and an inner panel 31 and reinforcements 33 and 34 are provided with large diameter holes 36, 37, and 38 with a diameter larger than that of the mounting hole 35. The clip 21 is engaged with the mounting hole 35, thereby mounting the weather strip 1. In mounting, the weather strip 1 can be mounted with a certain insert force, and is certainly locked and fixed to the flange 5. |
