PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for processing organic matter to generate energy. SOLUTION: A device processing organic matter to generate energy includes a reaction vessel water thermally processing the organic matter with water and generating flow out matter. The organic matter is gasified and the flow out matter containing steam, particulate matter, salt and corrosive chemical is generated in the reaction vessel. The flow out matter is transported to a heat exchanger and is cooled down to temperature at which all steam in the flow out matter can be sufficiently liquefied. The cooled flow out matter is separated into relatively clean gaseous part, liquefied water, particulate matter, salt and corrosive chemical. The gaseous part is supplied to a combustion chamber of a gas turbine with air to generate energy. The organic matter is preheated by heat extracted from exhaust heat of the flow out matter and gas turbine before water thermal process or driving a stem turbine. |
