PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester laminated film which is suitable as a protective film for a polarizing plate of a liquid crystal image display and of which the application properties for an antistatic layer-applying composition, a hard coat layer-applying composition, a nonglare applying composition, an applying composition for a nonglare layer and the like are improved without deteriorating physical properties and optical properties and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: For the cellulose ester laminated film 10 of 20 to 80μm in film thickness prepared by a co-cast filming method, a relation between an average substitution degree A of a cellulose ester constituting a surface layer 1a existing within 10μm from at least one side film surface in up and down both surfaces of the film and an average substitution degree B of the cellulose ester constituting an inner layer 1b existing over 10μm from the same film surface, is represented by the following formulas 2.35 <= substitution degree A<=2.85 and 2.75 <= substitution degree B<=2.95 and satisfies the substitution degree A < the substitution degree B. |
