PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with an ion generating device and an electrode part in a refrigerator compartment and an ion generating member in a vegetable compartment, and with the excellent layout efficiency and ion release efficiency, and the high ozone odor control efficiency. SOLUTION: The ion generating device 142 is mounted at an upper part of the refrigerator compartment and the ion generating member 140 is set inside the vegetable compartment 122 so that ions are efficiently circulated together with cold air upward/downward in the refrigerator compartment 120 so that the odor of foods can be prevented. Moreover, only plus/minus ions are generated inside the vegetable compartment 122 without generating ozone so that the gas to accelerate the deterioration of vegetables can be removed.
