PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled type soil improvement machine capable of generating improved soil having high quality by ensuring the stable quantity of soil and sand fed by smoothly conveying soil and sand in a hopper outside the hopper and controlling a mixing ratio with a soil improvement material by measuring the feed of soil and sand more accurately. SOLUTION: In the self-propelled type soil improvement machine, the machine has constitution having mixing equipment 200 being installed on a superstructure 3 of a travelling body 1 and mixing soil and sand and the soil improvement material, a conveyor 13 supplying the mixing equipment with soil and sand, the hopper 12 for receiving soil and sand being mounted on the upper section of the conveyor 13 and having a flexible wall on the downstream side, a soil- improvement material feeder 36 feeding conveyed soil and sand with the soil improvement material, a pressure roller 31 pressing soil and sand in the conveyor 13, a soil-sand volume measuring means measuring the volume of soil and sand after pressing and a carrying-out conveyor 107 carrying out improved soil mixed by the mixing equipment 200 outside the machine.
