PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leveling device for a workbench allowing the compact formation of the tip part of a boom which is the pivoted part of the workbench. SOLUTION: A workbench base 11 swingable in the same direction as the derricking direction of the boom 5 is disposed at the tip part of the boom 5 disposed in a derricking manner to a base. A leveling cylinder 14 is disposed connecting the boom 5 to the workbench base 11, and the workbench 8 is mounted on the workbench base 11. The workbench base 11 extends along the lower face of the workbench 8 and is pivotally connected to the tip of the boom 5 near the lower face of the workbench 8. One end of the leveling cylinder 14 is pivotally connected almost in the same height position as the pivotally connected position of the workbench base 11 and boom 5, and the other end is pivotally connected to the tip of the boom 5. The workbench base 11 is maintained at a prescribed angle by the expanding/contracting operation of the leveling cylinder 14 to hold the workbench 8 disposed on the workbench base 11, always at the prescribed angle.
