PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for confirming engagement with a container of a container cargo vehicle allowing securely confirming engagement between a hook and an engagement pin and dispensing with operation by an operator by electrically connecting on the basis of an operating state of a cargo device regardless of the surrounding state. SOLUTION: An engagement detection device 4 for detecting an engagement state when the hook 23 is engaged with the container C is fixed to a slide arm 22 and a moving side contact 6 electrically connected with the engagement detection device 4 is fixed to the horizontal section 22a.
