<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing coke from formed coal containing waste plastics, by which the quality of the coke produced by enhancing the strength of the formed coal mixed with the waste plastics and then carbonizing the strengthened formed coal can be improved and further by which the waste plastics can effectively be used. SOLUTION: This method for producing the coke from the formed coal containing the waste plastics is characterized by mixing coal with the waste plastics preliminarily subjected to a volume-reducing treatment, forming the mixture, compounding the formed coal with coal, and then carbonizing the mixture in a coke oven.</p> |
