<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of warpage or bending of a print head as well as to correspond to requirement of reduction of the thickness of the print head and to form an image with high resolution by adequate emission of light to a photosensitive recording medium. SOLUTION: This print head X1 emits a linear beam of light to a photosensitive recording medium F. The print head X1 comprises a light emitting element array 2 wherein a plurality of light emitting elements are provided on a substrate 20 to be arranged in a main scanning direction, a lens array 3 wherein a plurality of lenses 31 each having an axis extended in a sub-scanning direction are arranged in the main scanning direction, and a frame 1 holding the light emitting element array 2 and the lens array 3. Preferably, the rigidity against bending of the frame 1 is higher than that of the light emitting element array 2 or the lens array 3. It is preferable that the lens array 3 is held by the frame 1 in a condition that the lens array 3 is directly or indirectly in intimate contact with at least one of the substrate 20 and the frame 1.</p> |
