<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the disadvantage that high temperature water flows out of a water heater, in a hot/cold water mixing unit for a water heater that comprises: a mixed water circuit connected from the confluence of a cold water circuit and a hot water circuit to a water heater connection and provided with a mixed water temperature sensor 33; and a hot/cold water mixer for regulating a mixing ratio of hot water and cold water, and that controls the hot/cold water mixer to set a detection temperature of the mixed water temperature sensor 33 at a set hot water supply temperature S. SOLUTION: A calorific value W corresponding to a specific burning rate of the water heater is divided by a flow rate Q of mixed water to produce a temperature riseΔT, and the temperature riseΔT is subtracted from the set hot water supply temperature S to produce a corrected temperature MT. A mixer controlling means is provided to control the operation of the hot/cold water mixer so that the detection temperature of the mixed water temperature sensor becomes equal to the corrected temperature MT, if the detection temperature of the mixed water temperature sensor is below the set hot water supply temperature S even after the hot/cold water mixer is controlled to maximize the mixing ratio of the hot water in the mixed water.</p> |
