CATCHMENT BURIED CULVERT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catchment buried culvert, from which a settled sediment can be removed by simple washing. SOLUTION: A washing-water feed pipe 16 installed along the catchment buried culvert 3 and a plurality of branch pipes 19 being branched from the feed pipe 16 and extending up to the inside of the catchment buried culvert 3 are mounted. The settled sediment is carried to a settled sediment tank 9 by washing water injected from washing nozzles 21 secured at the front ends of the branch pipes 19. A removal pump 26 discharges water containing the settled sediment from the tank 9.
