PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a built-up type pallet, wherein fear for the unlocking by a wrong operation of a handle 24 is eliminated, and the unlocking operation can be facilitated. SOLUTION: This locking device is provided at the front and rear ends on the upper sections of right and left frames 2 and 4 having a combining groove 72 on both, front and rear sides. A locking pin 18 which protrudes in the combining groove 72 is combined with clamping holes of front and rear frames 68 and 70, and locking is performed. In this case, a pin bracket 12 is slidably provided in an operating chamber 10 of a body 6. From one side of the body 6, the locking pin 18 which goes through a rod 8 is connected through a spring 14. The pin bracket 12 is connected with a handle 24 which is rotatably connect-installed on the other side of the body 6, through a link 20. A specified 'play-moving interval' is provided between the pin bracket 12 and the locking pin 18. Thus, the locked state is kept by the spring force, and also, the handle 24 is easily projected to an angle which is easy to grip at the time of unlocking.
