PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket for protecting an object surely. SOLUTION: This basket 11 has a bottomed square cylindrical basket body 12, a rectangular polyurethane sheet 13, and a surface-curved cover 14, and is used by being mounted at the front of a handlebar 16 of a bicycle 15. An outer shell of the basket body 12 is formed of wire-like frame material 17. Also an upper part of the basket body 12 is provided with an opening part 18, and a bag can be taken in and out of this opening part 18. The frame material 17 is composed of steel wire rods and polyethylene foam. An outer circumferential surface of the steel wire rods is coated with polyethylene foam so that the frame material 17 is provided with cushion effects.
