TRANSLUCENT REFLECTING PLATE, TRANSLUCENT POLARIZING PLATE, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent reflecting plate which can suppress the formation of Newton's rings and prevent an indent mark and a flaw due to a foreign matter catch, a translucent polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display device using it. SOLUTION: The translucent reflecting plate is constituted by forming a surface-roughened layer of 0.1 to 1.0 μm in arithmetical mean surface roughness and 0.1 to 6.0 μm in 10-point mean surface roughness on the back of a light- transmissive macromolecular base material on which a translucent reflecting layer is laminated and a polarizing plate is stuck thereupon to obtain the translucent polarizing plate.
