PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic lens separation method for separating a lens completed product from an ophthalmic lens holding member made of a resin to which the inner surface of the lens adheres in an ophthalmic lens manufacturing process, and a separation device used therein. SOLUTION: In the ophthalmic lens separation method and the separation device used therein, the lens is peeled over two stages when it is separated from the lens holding member and the lens can be detached from the lens holding member in an extremely easy manner. Therefore, a work time is sharply shortened as compared with a conventional separation method and the automation of a lens manufacturing line is advantageously achieved. Furthermore, since no external force acts on the lens to be separated directly, there is no effect exerted on physical properties, optical characteristics or the like and the production of the lens in a high acceptable product ratio can be realized. |
