PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a jacket for bridging a belt sleeve which can increase the number of times of using. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the jacket 1 for bridging the belt sleeve comprises the steps of manufacturing a molding 3 by winding a rubber composition for the jacket blended with an organized oxide on a mold, coating a heat resistant polymer film 4 on the outer periphery of the molding 3 to shut off the contact of the surface of the molding 3 with the oxygen in the atmosphere to bridge the bridged belt sleeve. Since the outer peripheral surface of the jacket 1 is shut off from the atmosphere by the film 4, the outer layer is sufficiently bridged, the jacket 1 having the uniform layers can be finished without distinguishing the inner layer from the outer layer, and hence the number of times of using can be increased. |
