PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin polymerization catalyst which has reduced adhesion of the polymer particles to be obtained even on conducting polymerization of forming a large amount of a rubber component and high productivity, an olefin polymerization catalyst component to be used in the preparation of the olefin polymerization catalyst, and a process for producing an olefin polymer which has reduced adhesion of polymer particles and high productivity. SOLUTION: The olefin polymerization solid catalyst component comprises a titanium atom, a magnesium atom, a chlorine atom, and fine particles, and has an average primary particle diameter of >=1.5 times the average primary particle diameter of the fine particles and a pore volume of the polypropylene powder to be obtained by effecting polymerization under the standard polymerization conditions of >=0.12 ml/g, and the olefin polymerization catalyst can be obtained by bringing the olefin polymerization solid catalyst component, (B) an organoaluminum compound, and (C) an electron-donating compound into contact with one another, and the process for producing an olefin polymer uses the olefin polymerization catalyst.
