PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of spreading ozone all over the air passage connecting a suction port and a blow-off port in an ozone cleaning to deodorize and sterilize the inside of a main body. SOLUTION: The air passage connecting the suction port 2 and the blow-off port 3 is provided with a heat exchanger 10 bent into the approximately inverted triangular shape, and composed of a vertical part 10a, a rear inclined part 10b formed by backwardly bending and inclining an upper end of the vertical part 10a, and a lower inclined part 10c formed by bending and downwardly inclining a rear end of the rear inclined part 10b, and a blower fan 11. An ozone generating part 12 generating the ozone for sterilization and deodorization is mounted on the windward of the heat exchanger 10. The blow-off port 3 is closed by a vertical wind direction board 5, the suction port 2 of a front upper part is closed by opening and closing louvers 7, 8 of an upper position and a lower position, and the blower fan 11 is reversely rotated for a predetermined time when the sterilizing and deodorizing operation is performed.
