PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a latch device permitting to use the same component even though a plurality of products of different dimensions are to be produced. SOLUTION: An operation lever is provided on a base body 9, a support shaft 26 is supported by a shaft supporting portion provided at the inner surface side of the base body 9, a drive 39 is extended from the support shaft 26 in an almost radius direction, a follower plate 46 having a predetermined dimension in almost parallel direction relative to the center shaft of the rotation of the latch claw 34 is protruded and the drive arm 39 is directly contacted to the follower plate 46, the drive arm 39 is pushed and rotated to a required operation position by an operation force applied to the operation lever so as to make it possible to push and rotate the drive arm 39 by the operation force applied to the operation lever thereby constituting the latch device capable of driving the latch claw 34.
