POLYESTER FALSE-TWISTED TEXTURED YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester false-twisted textured yarn which can develop and excellent water-absorbing and quick-drying property on a woven or knit fabric. SOLUTION: This polyester false-twisted textured yarn is characterized in that the cross-sectional shape of each fiber of the polyester false-twisted textured yarn simultaneously satisfies the following (1) to (3). (1) There are three to six dents on the cross section of the single fiber, and the rate of the dents having opening depths (H/W) of >=0.3 is 50 to 80%, wherein the opening depth (H/W) is the ratio of the depth (H)/opening width (W) of the dent. (2) The average value of cross-sectional flatness coefficient is 1.5 to 3.5. (3) The standard deviation of the cross-sectional flatness coefficient is 0.3 to 1.0.
