PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an increase in the depth of a sash by reducing the width of extrusion of an operating handle of middle connecting frame for escape during folding the a folding double sliding sash door. SOLUTION: A guide roller 18 is installed to the upper and lower ends of a middle connecting frame 17 installed between partition panels 15 of the sash door 10, the guide roller 18 is linked to the guide rail 33b of the upper and lower frames 31 and 32 in a freely linking and releasing manner, their linking and release and folding of the sash door 10 are made possible by a cremorne mechanism, on the other hand, the operation of the cremorne mechanism 22 is operated by a handle 26 which makes a ring handle 26a freely rising and falling, a pap between meeting stiles 12 of an indoor outer sash door 10 is restricted to about several millimeters as same as other ordinary sliding door, and a high airtightness is secured by an airtight material 35 interposed between meeting stiles 12 when closing the sash door 10.
