PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct type air conditioner eliminating useless energy consumption by controlling an output corresponding to an operation of each passenger seat. SOLUTION: This duct type air conditioner is constituted of an air conditioner main body 1 and a duct 10 for introducing air-conditioned air blown from the air conditioner main body 1 into a plurality of blow-off ports 11. In the air conditioner, air quantity of airconditioned air introduced by the duct 10 is adjusted by air quantity adjusting means 12 provided corresponding to the blow-off ports 11 and the air-conditioned air is blown from the blow-off ports 11. Since the air conditioner is provided with means 21a, 21b...2n for varying output values by interlocking with adjusted quantity of each of the air quantity adjusting means 12, a means 20 for adding output values from the means for varying each of the output values and a means 30 for controlling outputs of the air conditioner based on the addition result, the outputs of the air conditioner can be controlled according to air quantity of air-conditioned air blown from each of the blow-off ports 11 to eliminate useless energy consumption.
