PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device for a structure in which a large space can be ensured between a column and a supporting structure on which the column is mounted, assuring a vibration-control function to the structure. SOLUTION: Connecting members 17 being longer than the columns 10 and being bent at at least one places of intermediate sections are installed oppositely between an upper structure 11 and a lower structure 16, an urging means 21 urging the bent sections of the connecting members is secured so as to narrow the included angle of a pair of these connecting members, and buffer members 20 are interposed among each bent section of a pair of the connecting members and the columns and the upper structure or the lower structure.
