The stamping device (10) for production of folding boxes and packing pieces comprises a support plate (12) and a corresponding stamp groove plate (14). The support plate in the direction of the stamp groove plate has at least one cutting line (16), at least one groove block (18), which has a groove-shaped profile (22) on its surface facing the stamp groove plate, and at least one groove line (20). The stamp groove plate is of one-piece construction and in an area opposite to the groove block has a groove profile (24) for accommodation of the groove-shaped profile of the groove block. In the area opposite to the groove line, the stamp groove plate has a recess (26) for accommodation of a rounded end of the groove line.
