Electronic game 170, e.g. for a mobile phone, includes an on-screen graphic comprising markers 180, 178 which move relative to one another, and a gaming character 172 controllable to perform actions when the markers achieve a pre-defined positional relationship. Character 172 may be controlled using a mobile phone keypad, and the graphic may include a bar 176 with fixed markers 180 and a moving marker 178. The pre-defined relationship of the markers may correspond to the marker 178 coming into registration with each of the fixed markers 180, actuation of the keypad at these times causing character 172 to execute pre-defined actions. Actuation of the keypad when marker 178 registers with a first fixed marker may cause a first pre-defined action, with actuation when marker 178 registers with a second fixed marker causing a second, complementary action. The game, relating for example to snowboarding, martial arts or diving, comprises a computer program which may be stored in the memory of a mobile phone or other gaming device having a processor. |
