PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid erroneous analysis by determining a fraction anomaly. SOLUTION: The particle analyzer is provided with a detecting part detecting a characteristic parameter from each of a plurality of particles, a distribution chart preparing part preparing at least two two-dimensional frequency distribution charts by using the detected characteristic parameters, a fractionating part fractionating particles appearing in each distribution chart into particle groups, a calculating part comparing the number of particles in particle groups including common type of particles when the particle groups including the common type of particles are respectively fractionated in the two distribution charts, and a determining part determining the fraction anomaly in the distribution charts on the basis of a comparison result.
