PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a system (COG (chip on glass)) which is advantageous in making the cost of a device lower and in miniaturizing the device and in which integrated circuits in each of which output terminals are provided at the side of input terminals are mounted on a liquid crystal circuit board is adopted in a liquid crystal display device, since the electrode pulling around spaces become broader, the total area of the liquid crystal display device becomes larger and the total cost of the device becomes higher. SOLUTION: In this display device, the space of the layout of a pattern is made without letting only output terminals of an integrated circuit 410 remain by utilizing that entire output terminals of a plurality of integrated circuits are not necessary from the viewpoint of the specification of the liquid crystal display device but by making numbers of output terminals of input sides of the integrated circuits 409 and 410 even and making electrodes not to be drawn out like a first non-draw out output electrode group 111 and a second non-draw out electrode group 112. In this case, a first start signal 104 and a second start signal 105 are inputted respectively to respective integrated circuits as a start signal.
