PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element forming mold capable of mounting an amorphous alloy on a die set without fracture which is apt to be broken due to brittle fracture though having excellent features, an optical element formed with the mold, and a method for manufacturing the optical element forming mold. SOLUTION: A hybrid structure is adopted where a screw hole 8a to fix an optical element forming mold 10 to which particular stress is applied is formed with an inserted member 8, and the other parts are made with an amorphous alloy. Thereby the stress focused at the screw hole 8a can be absorbed by ductility of a crystalline material and sliding hardening of crystal grain boundaries so that the fracture can be prevented. On the other hand, with regard to other members comprising the amorphous alloy, highly precise optical forming surfaces forming optical surfaces of the optical element can be easily formed by heated press forming, while dimensional reference planes requiring accurate fitting such as outer circumference can be precisely finished by the diamond grinding or the like.
