PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method to cope with the wear of concrete, by which the protection of the surface of concrete and repairing of erosion generated on the surface of the concrete can be easily carried out in a short period, the formation of industrial waste materials is reduced, the durability of the concrete is improved, and thereby, the repetition frequency for the repairing can be reduced. SOLUTION: The surface of concrete is protected or repaired by attaching a wear resistant plate 1 to a part of the surface of the concrete, where there is a possibility of an erosion or the erosion has occurred, using an adhesive member. The wear resistant plate 1 is obtained by forming a thermally sprayed coating 3 on the surface of a hard substrate 2 by thermal spraying a thermal spray powder prepared by mixing a cermet powder and a metal powder containing Ni or Ni and Cr onto the hard substrate 2.
