PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for a lens, which can easily color a lens or make a lens photochromic, which can be attached to or detached from a lens and which can impart fog resistance or UV shielding property to a lens. SOLUTION: The coating composition for a lens contains a hydrophilic polymer compound and a coloring agent as the components. Further, the coating composition for a lens contains an UV absorbent as an additive component. The coating composition for a lens contains a photochromic compound as the coloring agent. A spectacle lens is obtained by applying the above coating composition for a lens. |
