PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid fixing band for a storage container excellent in safety and appearance wherein a fixed state when tied or fastened is secured to realize higher reliability, an outer side of a coupling and an inner side of the coupling come into tight contact without a gap, there is no protruding coupling portion on the outer side of the coupling and the band is free from catches, and to provide the storage container. SOLUTION: The lid fixing band for a storage container is formed with an outer side 11 of a coupling located on an outer side comprising one of ends of a band body, an inner side 12 of the coupling comprising the other end of the band body and located inside the outer side 11 to overlap with the outer side 11, an overlap coupling 6 comprising the outer side 11 and the inner side 12, a clamp hole 16 formed on the outer side 11, and a hook notch 17 in the vicinity of the clamp hole 16. The hook notch 17 is formed in the vicinity of a rivet pin provided on the inner side 12. A projection of the rivet pin engages with the clamp hole 16 to fix a tied state or a fastened state of the band body. |
