APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING AMMONIA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of recovering an ammonia component at a high yield. SOLUTION: Ammonia-containing waste liquid discharged from RCA washing process is fed to a hydrogen peroxide-removing column 3 to reduce hydrogen peroxide concentration. The ammonia-containing waste liquid with reduced peroxide concentration is fed to an ammonia distillation column 5 to concentrate the ammonia component. Also ammonia gas generated from the RCA washing process, the hydrogen peroxide removing column 3 or the like is introduced to a scrubber 6 to be dissolved in water and is recovered as ammonia gas recovering waste liquid. The ammonia gas recovering waste liquid discharged from the scrubber 6 is fed to the ammonia distillation column 5 to concentrate the ammonia component.
