<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of detecting and displaying a target precisely without burying the target on the sea in sea clutters. SOLUTION: A radar reflected signal is received through an antenna 1 and an STC 14, and the received radar reflected signal is supplied to a main receiving circuit 43 through a level adjusting means (high speed ATT) 45. In a storage part 6, data of the loss quantity of a radar wave based on the antenna beam shape characteristic of the antenna 1 are stored beforehand in a shape loss data storage circuit (antenna gain table) 61, and based on the stored data, an operation circuit 7 calculates the loss quantity of the radar wave corresponding to the distance D of the antenna 1 by operation, and supplies a control circuit 8 with the result. The control circuit 8 adjusts and controls the level adjusting means 45 based on the operation result by the operation circuit 7, and therefore the receiving power level is corrected based on a beam pattern shape characteristic of the antenna 1, and the target reflected signal level can be captured in a dynamic range in a receiver and detected.</p> |
