PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink in which a flushing can be completed in a short time as compared with the conventional disazo pigments and a flushing discharge water is clear, further transparent and excellent in concentration. SOLUTION: The disazo pigment is characterized by coupling a tetrazo compound of 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine with an acetoacetoanilide-based compound to form a particle of the pigment and subjecting a surface of the pigment to surface treatment with a rosin acid and an aluminum hydroxide. The printing ink is obtained by flushing a wet cake of the pigment with a printing ink vehicle. |
