PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner furnished with a partition plate 28 to divide the inside of a casing 2 into a fan chamber 2a and a machinery chamber 2b capable of enlarging the machinery chamber 2b while restraining size of the casing 2 and improving workability such as piping, etc., by devising a shape of the partition plate 28. SOLUTION: The partition plate 28 is provided with a flat plate part 28a, a curved plate part 28b and a folded part 28c free to fold the partition plate 28 between them, working of the piping, etc., is carried out in a state of extended machinery chamber 2b by setting the flat plate part 28a to the side of the fan chamber 2a and thereafter, the flat plate part 28a is fixed on a front plate 24 by returning it to the side of the machinery chamber 2b. |
