PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swirl combustor capable of being driven stably for combustion. SOLUTION: The swirl combustor 1 has two swirl combustion parts 3 and 4 positioned inside a combustion chamber 2, with a connecting wall 5 between the combustion parts. A dense flame hole 19 is provided between the swirl combustion parts 3 and 4. Heat produced by the drive of the swirl combustion part 3 and the dense flame hole 19 for combustion is transferred to the swirl combustion part 4. Thus, even if a flame occurring in the swirl combustion part 3 is a 'lift' flame, the flame can be smoothly transferred from the swirl combustion part 3 to the same part 4.
