PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device capable of opening a shoji such as a natural air supply and exhaust hole or the like made in a sash by gradually lifting up and opening. SOLUTION: An arm member (6) connected to a shoji (3) in the frame of a sash, and a coupling rod (8) connected to this arm member (6) are provided. Other end of this coupling rod (8) is movable along the guide groove (7) and is pushed in a direction opening the shoji (3) by an open spring (9). To the arm member (6), a damping spring (10) is provided and damping is given to the rotation. Thus, the shoji (3) is gradually opened by the arm member (6) rotated by subjecting to the damping force.
