PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment for inspecting inner surface coating of a metallic container in which the metallic container can be separated from a hermetic sealing mechanism surely and quickly after inspection. SOLUTION: The equipment for inspecting inner surface coating of a metallic container where the metallic part of a metallic container 3 having an opening 5 at one end and applied with a nonconductive inner surface coating 4 serves as one electrode while a conductive member 19 disposed in the metallic container 3 serves as the opposite electrode and the inner surface coating 4 is inspected based on a current being generated when an arbitrary voltage is applied between both electrodes after the metallic container 3 is filled with inspection water 17 comprises a member 9 having a conductive member 19 being inserted into the metallic container 3 from the opening thereof and retracted therefrom after inspection, a mechanism for hermetically sealing the opening 5 of the metallic container 3 and unsealing it after inspection, and a movable part 25 provided in the insertion member and pressing an arbitrary part in the metallic container in a direction receding from the hermetic sealing mechanism wherein the movable part 25 abuts against the metallic container through an elastic member.
